What is an On-Demand Marketing Line?
It's your own private Toll Free Number and Marketing System, completely automated with all the tech tools, tracking features and strategies you will need to generate more leads using 24-Hour Free Recorded Messages, Evaluate and Qualify those leads plus Track the effectiveness of your advertising.
You will place your toll free number in all of your advertising, so consumers can call and access pre-recorded information about your products or services 24/7.
FACT: Using the words "Free Recorded Message" in all your advertising increases response by a factor of five times over having a local number where consumers are forced to call you directly. 
Do I need any hardware or software?
No. Your On-Demand Marketing Line requires no special equipment, software or extra telephone lines. When you want to record or check for voicemail messages, you simply call your own toll-free number from any telephone, press the # sign and enter a 4-digit PIN number to access your On-Demand Marketing Line's own personal recording studio and message center.
How many extension numbers do I get?
You get 120 different extensions to record information on. You can record on one or all your extensions depending on how many different messages you want to advertise.
How long can my recorded messages be?
Up to 10 minutes in length on each extension.
What is the average length of a recorded message?
About 2-3 minutes.
Who records my "Free Recorded Marketing Messages"?
You will be able to record your marketing messages on your telephone or any telephone simply by following the ART system voice prompts. We highly recommend that you do the recordings yourself. This allows the caller to "get to know you" in a completely pressure free manner. It's a great way to break the ice, and then when the caller does speak to you live; it's as if they've already met you. People are more receptive to a "real" person rather than a professional announcer. If you really do not want to do your own recording, ART can record your marketing message(s) for you in either a male or female voice. Call ART at 888-408-4222 for more details.
Can I get an "800" number or are only 888, 877, or 866 numbers available?
When you sign up, you'll be allowed to choose any one of the 888, 877, and 866 numbers listed on our web site at no extra charge. However, due to limited availability, 800 numbers require a one-time charge of $100.
What happens if a lot of prospects call my On-Demand Marketing Line at the same time? Will they get a busy signal?
No. You will never have to worry about your callers getting a busy signal. Your On-Demand Marketing Line is designed for multiple callers.
Why can't I just get my own toll-free number through a major telephone carrier?
You can get toll-free service through any provider you wish, however there is a difference because ART is not just a toll-free provider. The toll-free number you will receive from ART and place in your advertising is connected to ART’s powerful automated marketing system. Most carriers assign you 3 or 4 extensions and allow only one caller at a time to access your line. With other carriers you will not receive the customized, detailed reports in real-time over the Internet like you will receive with ART's Call Report Wizard. Not to mention all the custom features available with ART’s automated marketing system including Auto-Voice Responder, Direct Connect, Message Express, Advanced Paging, to name a few.
If I already have a toll-free number with another provider, can I transfer my number to ART?
Yes, but only if your current provider agrees to release the number. Most providers will release the number with no problem; others may not do so. First, contact your provider to see if they will relinquish their rights to the number. If your provider agrees to release your number, please contact ART at 888-408-4222 and we will e-mail or fax a RESPORG form to you. Next, you must fill out the "RESPORG" (Responsible Party of Origin) form and submitted it to your provider. Be forewarned that this process can sometimes take up to 6 weeks or more to complete. However, you can sign-up on the ART web site and get a new toll-free number today!
Do you have Spanish accounts?
Yes. We have accounts available that have all voice prompts recorded in Spanish. The charges are same as for a normal On-Demand Marketing Line.
What will callers hear when they call my On-Demand Marketing Line?
First the callers will hear your customized Opening Greeting. For example, "Thanks for calling John Smiths 24-Hour Information Center." The ART system prompt will instruct them to “press 1 to enter the extension number” included in your advertising. Immediately your corresponding recorded marketing message about your products or services will play for them.
Can I route callers to a different extension at any time during my recordings?
Yes. Callers can be instructed to access a different extension to receive alternate information whenever you desire.
After people listen to my "Free Recorded Marketing Message", what are they given the option to do next?
They can Direct Connect to you. At any time during your recorded message, the prospect can press ‘0' and be automatically transferred YOU at your office, home, or cellular phone. You can even select the hours of the day you wish calls to be transferred.
They can Repeat the message.
They can Leave a message for you in your On-Demand Marketing Line Voicemail Center.
They can Enter another extension number to listen to another marketing message.
They can Request more information be faxed to them with ART’s Fax-on-Demand feature, if that marketing message has information attached.
What happens if I don't have my Direct Connect feature activated?
If Direct Connect is not activated, your callers will never hear the automated voice prompt to "Press 0 to be Directly Connected".
Can I have calls from different extensions transferred to different Direct Connect numbers?
The call will be transferred to one Direct Connect number when they press ‘0', no matter which extension the caller is listening to. But, you do have the option to have calls transferred to different phone numbers during different times of the day, example: your office from 8am to 5pm and your cell phone from 5pm to 7:30pm, or you can disable the feature.
You can instantly modify the phone number you want the calls transferred to or disable the Direct Connect feature during the weekend or on vacations simply by logging on to the "Member Log In" area of ART's web site.
Are the phone numbers of the prospects who called my On-Demand Marketing Line "captured"?
Yes. ART uses ANI Caller ID technology to identify each caller's phone number, even if that number has call blocking.
Are there any phone numbers that aren't captured?
No, but certain "official" phone numbers such as Military, Police, Fire, Government, etc. will not allow you to call them back. Normally the message you hear will say, "The number you've reached is disconnected or not in service".
Also some cell phone numbers will report the "Transmitting Tower Number" as the captured number. When calling those numbers back, you will hear a similar "disconnected or not in service" message.
Is Reverse Match available on my On-Demand Marketing Line?
Yes. Reverse Match will convert 75-80% of the callers captured phone numbers to mail-deliverable names & addresses. After the free 30 day trail period, you will be charged $0.14 for each captured phone number that produces a mail-deliverable name & address.
Can I be paged when prospects have called my On-Demand Marketing Line?
ART's Advanced Pager Signaling (included with every Saver Program) alerts you immediately when you get a lead from your On-Demand Marketing Line. You can choose to be paged only when a prospect leaves a voicemail message in your On-Demand Marketing Line Voicemail Center or to be paged when anyone calls, regardless of whether they left a voicemail
Advanced Paging will display your callers captured phone number and the extension they listened to. You can be paged to your cell phone (if it has text messaging), to your display pager or to an email address. It's your choice.
How do I listen to the voicemail messages prospects leave for me on my On-Demand Marketing Line?
You will dial your own toll-free On-Demand Marketing Line number, press the # sign, enter your PIN number then follow the voice prompts.

What is Call Report Wizard?
Call Report Wizard is an on-line reporting system that enables you to accurately measure, track and evaluate all your Call Activity, all your Advertising Response and how long each of your callers listened to your recorded marketing message before they hung up. Call Report Wizard does this all over the Internet and all in real time!
Do I need a computer to use Call Report Wizard?
Yes. To access Call Report Wizard, you must log in to ART web site and go to "Your Online Account" page via the Internet.
Do I need to be a computer or technical wiz to use Call Report Wizard?
Not at all. We have designed the Call Report Wizard program with very simple step-by-step report screens to create your first reports. Our on-line and hard copy User’s Guide will explain all the steps
What kind of reports can I create using Call Report Wizard?
There are 3 different reports:
The Call Activity Report displays all prospects who called during any given date range. You can view the extensions caller's listened to, where they saw your ad, if they left a message, requested a fax-on-demand, used Direct Connect, or responded to Auto Voice Responder. You can then E-mail or print this report.
The Ad Tracking Report exposes money-wasting ads by displaying how many calls were generated from each magazine, newspaper, flyer or other ad campaigns. This helps you funnel your advertising dollars into profit-producing campaigns.
The Call Duration Report pinpoints where your callers are hanging up during your recorded message. An easy-to-read bar graph reveals the exact number of seconds each caller listened to your recording. This report helps you improve the overall performance of your script and recorded message.
What is Fax-on-Demand?
ART’s Fax-on-Demand system automatically provides your callers with your custom created print material (sign up forms, flyers, price sheets, property information, seminar registration forms, etc.) instantly upon their request.
You simply prepare a document exactly as you’d like your prospects to receive it. Then fax that document to ART’s special 800 number where it is stored directly into ART's Fax-on-Demand System computer. Immediately ART's System Computer will know to give your callers the option to receive your fax 24-hours a day, without you lifting a finger. Fax-on-Demand is included with all Saver Programs.
Your On-Demand Marketing Line system always recognizes whether or not a fax is available on each extension and will never give your callers the voice prompt to enter their fax number if a document is not attached.
What is Auto-Voice Responder (AVR)?
When a caller leaves you a voicemail message, ART's Auto Voice Responder System (AVR) can automatically dial back the prospect's call-captured number for instant personalized follow up. The system will dial back their number within 15 seconds to play outbound your pre-recorded message.
You can program the AVR system to play a recorded message thanking them for calling and telling them that you're currently with another client but will contact them as soon as possible.
You choose the AVR feature on a per extension basis.

Signing up for an On-Demand Marketing Line

How do I sign up for an On-Demand Marketing Line?
You can sign up on-line on our web site by clicking the "Sign Up" link in the upper right corner and following the instructions.
I live in Canada. Is there a price difference for your On-Demand Marketing Line service?
NO. All calls placed to your On-Demand Marketing Line in Canada are billed at the same rate as the calls within the United States.
Will my On-Demand Marketing Line work outside the US and Canada?
No. ART's On-Demand Marketing Line currently covers all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
What if I don't use all my allotted minutes in any given month?
Any unused minutes are not carried over into the next month.
What if I use more than my allotted minutes in any given month?
You will be charged the per-minute rate of your current program for any additional minutes used.
What exactly am I being charged for on my ART On-Demand Marketing Line?
Your monthly bill includes charges for the following:
Monthly System Access Fee plus airtime charges (billed in 1-second increments) which include:
Airtime used while prospects listen to your recordings.
Airtime used while prospects leave you voicemail messages.
Airtime used when you check voicemail messages in your On-Demand Marketing Line Voicemail Center.

How do I actually pay for the On-Demand Marketing Line?
You can sign up on-line and pay by credit card. Upon signing up, your credit card is debited for the one time set-up fee plus the first month's charges of your program selected. Your credit card will then be debited each month on or about the same day your account was activated. To increase or decrease pre-paid minutes, contact ART’s Customer Support.
 
Is there a contract for a certain length of time for the On-Demand Marketing Line?
By signing up for the Connection Marketing System, you are agreeing to a month to month contract with a 30 day written cancellation notice required.
How long does it take to get my toll-free number so I can start advertising?
When you sign up on-line, your account is activated immediately upon credit card approval. You will receive an e-mailed confirmation with the toll-free number you selected for your use, your assigned PIN number and the log in link to the "Members Only" area of ART's web site. There, you will have immediate access to ART's on-line QuickStart and Complete User's Guide to help you get your On-Demand Marketing Line up and running, quickly and easily.
Will I get Ad Samples and On-Demand Marketing Line scripts that I can use?
There are Ad Samples and On-Demand Marketing Line scripts for your use in ART's Marketing Library.
What kind of support will I receive after I'm set up?
You will receive telephone calls from ART's expert Customer Support Representatives to answer any questions you may have and to guide you toward success. You will also receive our new "FastTrack" series of e-mails designed to help you get up and running with ease. What is the Client Connection Broadcast Center?
Your own Automated Voice Broadcast System, designed to increase repeat and referral business. Simply log-in to ART's Client Connection Broadcast Center where you record powerful and compelling nurturing messages in your own voice, then schedule the delivery of those messages outbound to all your clients once a week, once a month, or on a schedule of your choice for about HALF the cost of direct mail. In your Voice Broadcast message, you can also direct prospects and clients to call your On-Demand Marketing Line if they'd like more information. That way you won't spend yours or your employees' valuable time disclosing the same repetitive information over and over again.
What are the different ways I can use Client Connection Broadcast Center?
Client Nurturing - The Client Connection Broadcast Center automatically helps you maintain and nurture your valuable client relationships. With ART's Client Connection Broadcast Center, you can record one warm, friendly "wanted to stay in touch" message, then in a matter of minutes, easily send this message outbound simultaneously to hundreds or even thousands of your clients. Talk about "WOW" service and a HUGE time saver! If you regularly send out newsletters, flyers or letters to your clients, you can send a Voice Broadcast message the day you do your mailing saying "Be on the look out for my information in your mailbox." This has been known to increase readership response by three times!
How do I actually create and then send a Voice Broadcast?
First, you must have a computer with Internet access. Then, there are 3 easy steps you'll follow using ART's Client Connection Broadcast Center User's Guide:
  1. You'll record your Voice Broadcast message right on your own telephone or any telephone for that matter.
  2. You'll upload the list of phone numbers you wish to broadcast to your ART Broadcast Center over the Internet.
  3. You'll schedule over the Internet when you want your Voice Broadcast to go out, as well as whether you want your Voice Broadcast message to be delivered to a live person only or both live person and answering machine.
Are there certain hours of the day that are best for sending a Voice Broadcast?
For best results, it is recommended to schedule your Voice Broadcast to go out between the hours of 10am and 6pm.
Can I send a Voice Broadcast to businesses?
It is usually more of a challenge to send Voice Broadcasts to businesses because some automated voicemail systems require you to enter an extension to reach a certain individual. However, many businesses do have basic answer machines and voicemails, so don't rule these out. Just be aware that the number of successful Voice Broadcast calls that get through could be a smaller percentage than those that go out to consumers.
What happens to the phone numbers in my Voice Broadcast delivery that were unsuccessful, in other words, were busy, no answer, etc?
 
Those numbers can be recycled to schedule a Voice Broadcast at a later time and date.
If someone asks to be removed from my Voice Broadcast list, how can I ensure that number doesn't get called again?
There are two ways: The best way to have their number removed automatically is by letting the listener know in the beginning of your Voice Broadcast message that if they would like their phone number removed from future calls, to press 3 or they can call 1-800 (opt out number provided by ART). They will then have an opportunity to type in or leave a message with their phone number to have removed. The number will also be automatically entered in the Phone Blacklist area of your on-line Broadcast Manager.
The other way is If someone calls you directly and asks to be removed, you can manually enter their phone number (and name if desired) into the "Phone Blacklist" area of your on-line Broadcast Manager. That number will never again be dialed no matter how many different broadcasts you send out.
How do I get reports about the results of my Voice Broadcast?
By clicking on the "View Reports" area of the on-line Broadcast Manager. You will be able to display a detailed report of each broadcast including an itemized list of the date andtime every phone number was dialed, the length of the actual call and what occurred, i.e. busy signal, no answer, success, etc.

How do I pay for my Client Connection Broadcast Center charges?
Each time you schedule a Voice Broadcast, your credit card will be debited for the estimated cost of your broadcast at the rate of $0.14 per minute. The estimated cost is calculated using the total number of phone numbers you will be dialing outbound times the length of your broadcast recording.
For example: you want to schedule a Voice Broadcast to both answering machines and live pickups to 500 people and the estimated cost is $50.00.
For estimation purposes, a typical 30 second broadcast that connects and plays your message will cost between 10-12 cents. This includes any airtime costs for your Voice Broadcast message plus answer machine greetings and live pickup greetings.
When scheduling this broadcast your credit card will be debited $50.00 and then on the specific day and time you selected, your broadcast will go outbound to your list of phone numbers.
After the broadcast completes, let's say that because of busy signals, no answers, etc., your message did not play for every phone number dialed. Your actual Voice Broadcast cost is less than the estimated cost of $50. If the correct cost was only $40, then $10 will remain in your broadcast account and this balance will be applied toward future broadcasts you send out.
Airtime is calculated in 1-second increments. This is a month-to-month contract and there is a 30-day written cancellation notice required.
Can I use my On-Demand Marketing Line minutes toward my Client Connection Broadcast Center charges?
Your Client Connection Broadcast Center charges are always billed independently of your On-Demand Marketing Line charges.
